All second graders at Chippewa have been asked to do a service project during which they help others in their community. They have been encouraged to take photographs or create drawings of their active participation and create a poster spotlighting their efforts to share with their class. Through this project the students actively become aware of how a little help goes a long way and the importance of taking part in community projects. To support our students, the second grade teachers all participated in either a church or community project as well.
